This is a warning to anyone considering using Jim Whte plumbing in Las Vegas, NV.
I called Jim White Plumbing with a gas leak at a house I was working on. I had already walked the property with Southwest Gas and watched them spray all the connections to try and find the gas leak and none of the connections were leaking, so the leak was somewhere in the attic.
Jim White answered the phone and told me he could have a guy out there in an hour. I was happy to have someone come so quickly. They sent a plumber named Dana, who told me he has been a plumber in Las Vegas for 35 years and was honest. That should have been a red flag right there. People shouldnt have to say that within the first few minutes of meeting them.
I told him what the problem was and he told me that they could definitely fix it, it would probably be two to three hours of work at 85 dollars per hour. This was more than fair to me. Dana then told me he had to go run to another appointment and that he would be back in about two hours with his helper who would climb in the attic and find the leak.
Two hours later they showed up with a completely different attitude. He told me the whole house had to be re piped that there were leaks at all the joints and it was not repairable. This was after they loosened some of the fittings going into the house.
I informed him that I walked the property with the Southwest Gas employee and that there were in fact no leaks at any of the joints. Dana told me that the guy that works for SW Gas doesnt know what he is talking about and that it needed to be replaced.
He then put a quote together for me of $2,750... He lied to my face trying to rip me off when I already knew what was actually wrong.
After I asked him to leave the property he demanded that I pay him for coming out, wasting my time, and doing more damage by losening pipes. He threatened to go back to the property and do damage unless I paid him $100 dollars. I paid him to get them to go away. I have attached a video so everyone can see this scumbag.
Beware!!! If they will do this to me they will do it and probably are doing it daily to everyone that they call. DO NOT use Jim White Plumbing.
I ended up getting the pipe fixed for $350. (there was a leaking pipe in the attic)
Con Artists should be out of business, not taking advantage of the residents of Las Vegas.

My name is Dana Franco, I was representing Jim White Plumbing as the Foreman Supervisor. I received a service call on Sunday morning from Rick Anthony in regards to a gas line that he stated South West Gas Company is refuseing to turn on the meter to.
I set up a meeting time with Rick Anthony to go over the job that same day. I arrived on the job to do a visual inspection of what the issues were with the gas line. Rick Anthony explained that he had a plumber out prior two me working on the job and that he had him run an illegal gas line to a fireplace in the bedroom.
Rick Anthony stated that this is where I should start looking becuase he had an argument with that plumber over the line. Rick Anthony told me he believes the previous plumber cut the line with a sawzall. So, at the very beginning a Red FLag comes up with me in regards to Rick Anthony's behavior with the previous plumber.
During the visual inspection of the gas line from the gas meter wrapped around bottom edges of the roof eves, to the hot water heater, half of the threaded joints going into the fittings were loosened. I explained to Rick the only way for me to test the line correctly, I would have to cap it off and apply air pressure in order to soap test the joints. He was ok with that for a service call of $85.00 per hour not to exceed 2 hours.
At that time, I explained to him that I would need to go get an air compressor and fittings to do this. My first initial service call on Sunday was actually free, no charge. I returned to the job 2 hours later and put the proper fittings and gauges on the gas line to pump up with air to see if it would hold 10 pds of pressure. It would not even pump up and after soap testing the outside gas line, I found more than 6 leaks on fittings of this existing gas line.
At that point, I explained to Rick Anthony in order to correctly fix the problem, the only thing I would do as a licensed, bonded plumbing contractor would be to replace the 50 years old existing line to all fixtures to include permits and inspection for the price of $2750. Rick Anthony then blew a gasket and then refused to pay me $85.00 dollars which we agreed upon!
I said fine, packed my tools up and was leaving when he then stopped me and handed me a check for $85.00 dollars and then stated very hostile "I want a reciept". I obliged and provided him with a reciept for $85.00 dollars. Rick Anthony's check was deposited into the bank but did not clear. The bank stated that the check was written off an account that had been closed for 5 years. The check was NSF! and costed me an extra $15. in fees.
I phoned Rick Anthony, to explain this to him and all he did was argue with me about the payment . He finally then agreed to meet me and give me a casihers check for $100. to make it right. I meet with him and unknowingly to me, he took a picture and vidio of this. This is the picture posted on the report.
I have been on approximately 12,000 service calls over my career and have never met such an unprofessional douch bag like this who has slander me and has costed me and my family $10's of $1,000's of dollars. After I had Rick Anthony investiigated, it turnes out that he is quite the SOCIAL MEDIA BULLY that does not pay his bills and if he does he pays them with bad checks. This guy is the scum bag that is represting Realty One. Dont buy a house from this looser he will lie, cheat and steel to close the deal!
