i TOOK MY CAR IN ON 10-1-99 TO CHECK ON A TRUNK LOCK PROBLEM, A
POSSIBLE DRIVE SHAFT PROBLEM AND A TUNE UP THAT INCLUDES AIR FILTER CHANGE, INSPECTION OF FUEL & EMISSION FILTER,IGNITION WIRES, DISTRIBUTION CAPS, ROTORS,BELTS AND PCV VALVE.

I HAD AN OFFICIAL JIM WHITE COUPON FOR 10% OFF ON ANY SERVICE AND ONE ON THE TUNE UP SPECIAL FOR $49.95 WHICH WERE MAILED TO MY HOUSE.

I READ OFF THE COUPONS TO DAVE WHALEY(EMPLOYEE)AND HE SAID OK.WHEN I PICKED UP THE CAR, HE REFUSED TO LET ME USE THE 10% OFF COUPON EVEN THOUGH HE HAD ALREADY ACCEPTED IT ON THE PHONE-SAYING I CAN ONLY USE ONE(EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE 2 SEPARATE SERVICES. HE ALSO CHARGED ME $51 INSTEAD OF 49.95 AND WAS TOO LAZY TO CHANGE IT. FINE WHATEVER-FEW A FEW DOLLARS I WON''T MAKE A BIG STINK.

I THEN NOTICE THAT THE RECEIPT DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT REPLACING THE AIR FILTER OR CHECKING THE ABOVE MENTIONS ITEMS. HE TRIED TO SAY THAT THE INSPECTION OF THE ITEMS MENTIONED IN THE COUPON ARE ALWAYS CHECKED DURING AN OIL CHANGE.

REALLY??? ALSO HE ADMITTED HE DID NOT REPLACE THE FILTER
AND WHEN HE FINALLY WENT TO DO IT, HE LOOKED AT MY FILTER &
SAID "THIS LOOKS BRAND NEW, I''M KEEPING IT!" NO APOLOGIES OR
ANYTHING. IN FACT, HE COMMENTED"YOU HAVE A REAL GOOD COUPON
THERE"TOSSING IT TO THE SIDE.
