Do not use Jim Bryant for any house setting projects. We got his contact information from the home manufacturer as they had used him before for these projects. When Jim first came out to quote for our project, my family and I made sure to go into detail about what we needed, and how our neighbor who owns the property our easement is on didn't want her property damaged by any attempts at moving a house in. Mainly she was worried about her fence, trees, and bushes that line the front of her property by the road. He assured us that it wouldn't be an issue and that he had done this so many times before in harder situations. I confirmed this with him on many seperate conversations with him (at least four) and his answer stayed the same. He also agreed to install the piers that our home would need to sit on.

Fast forward a few months to the start of the foundation work. The day he and his crew were scheduled to come out, he didn't show up without a word to me about it. When I called and asked what happened, he didn't answer. In fact he didn't answer at all until the next day, gave a suspicious excuse, and I rescheduled with him. At this point I started looking for a replacement setting company but I couldn't find anyone who would take the job so I was stuck trying to make it work with a man who made it very clear that he didn't care about doing what he agreed to do.

When he got here to actually do the work this time, the first thing he said was that part of my neighbor's fence needed to come down and maybe some of the plants needed removed as well, directly contradicting what I'd confirmed with him multiple times. He then tried telling me that he was only going to dig the holes for the piers, not fill them with concrete like he initially agreed to, and that I should find someone else to pour the concrete. With some convincing from me, he agreed to do the work we'd originally agreed on and he came back the next week to do that. At this point, he also suggested that I send his contact information to the home manufacturer so that we could all be on the same page about a plan for when the home is delivered. I did just that, and gave his contact information to my contact at the manufacturer and gave him the contact information of the manufacturer. Nobody contacted anybody about anything which led to the next complete failure.

On the day of the house delivery, he didn't show up at all without any warning again, and when we rescheduled with the delivery driver so that it could be done the next day, he still didn't show up. He was also uncontactable most of that time, and when we were able to contact him, he gave no reason to us as to why he didn't show up. We found out later that he told the delivery driver for the house that he wanted nothing to do with this job. Had he said that from the beginning like he should have, I might have been able to find a person who wouldn't screw us over the way he did.

The only reason we were able to get our house was because of Young Mobile Home Sales Inc. and Transport Inc. I highly recommend going through those two companies for any home purchasing or placement needs. This has been one of the worst experiences I've had with a company, the worst being the company we ordered this house from in the first place.
