JimmySurf miserable conniving business procedures victimized many consumers Internet
our computer started receiving pop up ads days before our computer person came out to install high speed internet. We had been hooked up before but had gone off for awhile.
Now we get pop up ads even when we are not logged into the internet and are flagged with pop up ads like never before and in every run up pops up "stop up pop ads" by Jimmy Surf.
I feel they are annoying the hell out of people until they get so sick and tired they buy or subscribe to their product. This is as annoying as telemarketers who constantly call your home. Well with them you can tell them to take you off of their calling list and track and have them charged if the calls persist. I have tried to find a way to contact Jimmy Surf directly but have been unsuccessfull. Can you help? Thanks

The Domain name is JimmySurf.com and corporate is SurfProtect LLC, Administrative contact: Shannon Russell, 535 Concord Avenue, Cambridge, MA, 02138, US Phone: 617-661-0727--I have not tried this number, but this is the one listed either by the registrar or the registrant. This according to Network Solutions and ARIN WHOIS database. You can email: js_adm@yahoo.com or review other reports here listed under the category: On-Line Business
I don't know what type of online service you have, but with mine through Internet Explorer, I can block certain sites. What works for my system may not work for yours, so you might consider contacting your ISP tech rep or Computer Manufacturer's tech rep. I select Internet Options, then Privacy, which leads me to a section to over ride cookie handling. I push the Edit button and in a new menu select "Block" or "Allow". Maybe when you talk to a tech rep, they can walk you through similiar instructions. DO NOT TRY MY INSTRUCTIONS. Mine are only for example. You have to make adjustments according to your own computer and online service.
Hope this helps.
