JK Computers And Cameras Sold a lens at massively over-inflated price, then offered a 'discount', but overall price still hugely inflated. Dishonest selling techniques New York New York
Asked for wide angle lens for a Canon EOS 400 Digital Camera. The shop guy recommended a Digital Vision 0.45X TITANIUM lens attachment made by PDS International, Brooklyn NY.
After and extensive demonstration of the lens he then told me the price was $1499. He then immediately offered a 60% discount. I said I would think about it. His assistant then jumped in and offered a 70% discount. At the time (some-what bamboozled) I accepted and bought the attachemnt for $379.
After searching on the net I have since found out that these type of attachemnts retail between $40 - $200.
The store offers no refund except for defective goods, in which event you may only exchange.
No till receipt was provided either, and the price tag of $1499 was removed by the assistant before being bagged up for me.
