Underneath is a brief record of what we have experienced with JK Harris. Be aware, after my 6 month experience with these people I have had to report them to Better Business Bureau. 


In 10/2010 My wife and I signed a contract with JK Harris for tax services. We did
not hear anything from JK Harris for two months after giving $1,020.00 to them.
We called them 5 times over the two months with no response. On the sixth call
in 12/2010 we decided to ask for a refund. The csa told us that nothing was
done yet and they were waiting for paper work. They claim to of called us but
our phone records from our provider says otherwise. At the time we stopped the
contract. We asked for a full refund.... 01/2011 calling again for our refund
and was told that we had to sign a paper that was released after 30 plus days
to us. Out of the $1020.00 they thought we were entitled to only $272.00. We
agreed to it only to see what was done. We were told that a master file will be
sent to us. It was sent to us, it was incomplete and unorganized. It was
missing years of data and was not close to being a full Master Tax File from
the IRS.  Since receiving that incomplete file in 02/2011 we have not heard anything back. We have called 37 times and left voicemails on the only extension there employees allows us to. The
voicemail claims to promise that we will receive a call back within 24 hours,
that simply just hasn't happened. I'm getting multiple time frames of when I
should expect my money, ether 45-60 days or 90-160 business days. Either way,
we're coming up to three months and nothing back. This company is a border line
scam.
