Complaint Review: JK Harris

JK Harris was recommended to me by my sister who had recently used his services at the time this occured. I contacted the phone number and received a message center. I left my information and shortly someone contacted me to make an appointment with "JK Harris" My husband and I were told to meet with him to for legal representative, He was going to negotiate our problems with the IRS.

Here is his motto: "Our tax resolution experts ease any immediate tax crisis, get you into compliance, then tackle the big issue: settling your tax debt in the most favorable way possible for you" He told us that he would make an offer to the IRS and that we would have to put up $600.00 up front and then begin making monthly payments to a mailing address that he gave us. We ended up losing approximately $900.00 total. He never got back with us regarding this issue.

We tried contacting him several times. He never returned our calls and wasnt available, but we continued to receive bills that he was sending us. He threatened to turn us in the credit bureua and the IRS. My husband and I contacted the IRS to set up payments and they knew of JKHarris and his scams. They told us they never received any information or money concerning our debt. I am not the only person that I know personally that he has ripoffed.

My sister lost a total of $6000.00 to him and nothing was accomplished. My friend also was scammed by him and lost a total of $70,000.00 and still owes the IRS. Please look into this and contact me if there is anything that I am able to do about this so others will not be ripped off as my husband and I were.
