Jl Concrete - JERRY LARETTA REFUSE TO COMPLETE JOB AFTER BEING PAID Saginaw Texas
Lies,Lies Lies where to begin.. I met this guy through a contact Keith Mansfield where they do business together on side pool jobs . Jerry the owner of JL Concrete convinced my wife and I to completely remove the deck to replace the drains around the pool, since there was a drainage problem. This project has been going on since February 22 since I first wrote Keith Mansfield a check. Eleven thousand seven hundred fifty dollars later ( $9,500.00 to Keith Mansfield) ,( $2,250.00 to Jerry Laretta JL Concrete). These two guys repeatedly lied to my wife and I about times and dates when they will begin and when this will be completed. My wife and I took bids from other company's through out the DFW area. Keith convinced me that they will complete the job sooner than any other company and a lower price.
The pool was completed March 24th. (Plaster and coping with Oklahoma flag stone, looks good).. The pool equipment and the install has not been completed to this day with lies about delivery and proof of product that has been paid for. The same goes for Jerry... I need money to buy supplies for the job 1000.00 for the rip out, gave Jerry 2,250 for materials and a balance of 1,300.00 when completed. He promised me this job will be completed on April 25 2008 per our phone conversation on April 19th. Jerry has not returned or answered my calls to let me know when his crew will be here to set the drains and lay the steel for the concrete. Concerned pool owner, Joe
