JLive Entertainment Joey Perez Failed to follow through with Contracted Agreement Hanford California
Joey Perez J Live Entertainment cancelled services four days before for his scheduled service. I am requesting a full refund of $350.00 I am filing a complaint against Joey Perez of J Live Entertainment for not fulfilling his agreement to be the announcer at the Battle of the Badges weigh in April 18, 2014 and event April 19, 2014 being held at the Hanford Civic Auditorium. When I met with Joey Perez in November 2013 to hire him for the Battle of the Badges event he said he was available to do the event. Joey Perez's services were $600.00 dollars to announce and DJ the weigh in and the event. Joey Perez pushed real hard for a deposit of $350.00 dollars and ever since I paid him he hasn't returned my emails, text messages, phone calls and canceled meetings. After emailing him I was going to cancel his services he immediately called me and said he has been busy and there is nothing to worry about, he will be announcing the weigh in and event. Joey Perez told me he would promote the event on his website, look into possible sponsorship and we could use his ring card girls. He never followed through with anything. On Monday April 14, 2014 the week of the event Joey Perez sent me an email stating that he would not be able to fulfill his contract obligation and would not be announcing the event and his brother would be filling in for him as the announcer. At that time I immediately canceled his services and requested a refund of my deposit. Joey Perez has been very unprofessional from the beginning. With Joey Perez last minute cancellation he left me with three days to find a new announcer and DJ. I was fortunate enough to find an announcer for $500 dollars due to the short notice. I tried to resolve the issue with Joey Perez and the only thing he offered was a credit to use him for a future event. I will never use him again. I have put on more than 20 events and Joey Perez is by far the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Tom G. (((REDACTED)))

I am writing to let anyone reading this Ripoff report comment to inform you that we communicated with this client and fixed the problem including a full refund. We admit, in this situation miscommunication was key on our comapnies part due to not following up with the customer prior to the event. We have sinced made it our priority to set up meetings with our clients atleast 2-4 times per event. This way no miscommunication issues can take place.
As owner of the company I take full responsibility for the miscommunication that was described in this report. But I am proud to say, not only have we improved on this issue, but our company continues strong for 16 years now. We continue to provide quality entertainment and services for hundreds of clients that have hired us over the years, including return business, long term relationships with companies like the Big Fresno Fair & Leprino Foods.
We never had the chance to provide our services for this event, and actually I wish we could have had that chance. But the past is the past and we wish Tom and his organization nothing but the best in all his future endeavors.
Please feel free to contact our company direct by visiting our website, jliveent.com with any questions or further clairifcation on this report.
Thank you for your time,
