I purchased a new 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe from Sansone Auto Mall. In 2010 I started having problems with the transmission. After 3 seperate complaints it was finally fixed by the original warranty. After that the real problems started in 2012. In the meantime an extended warranty was purchased.

I have had to replace just about every part of the things pertaining to the wheel base front and back to the tune of about $1100.00, none of which was covered by the extended warranty.

There were a few recalls issued but none of them pertained to the parts I had to replace until I received the last one which was for an undercoating to be applied which I also had done. In the recall notice (which I read carefully) a list of all the parts I had to replace was included along with instructions for reimbursment if I had to get those parts replaced.

So I started the process of making copies of the bills and faxing them to the number provided. I dealt with Tyler West. A few weeks later (after numerous phone calls) I was told that my request was denied. It seems that someone at Sansone denied the claim because the parts were not RUSTED. The recall did not say anything about rusted parts. When I confronted the manager at Sansone I did not get a satisfactory explanation and he did not want to deal with me.

I wanted to go further with this issue but did not know where or who to contact about this useless extended warranty until now. What good is an extended warranty if it does not cover anything? Money down the drain as far as I'm concerned.

Anything I had to replace was not my fault. I consider it shoddy parts & poor workmanship on the part of Hyundai. Never have I had to replace so many parts on any car that I have owned. Now I need 2 more items replaced to the tune of another $1100.00 which is also not covered by the warranty.

For the past 4 years I have been on Social Security and having to pay for these repairs has been a hardship, after all I do have to have a roof over my head. I have thought of getting a new SUV (not a Hyundai for sure) but at this point it's out of the question.

I feel that these repairs which I paid for (cash and credit cards) should have been covered by the warranty especially since the parts listed on the last recall where the ones I replaced. Someone should be responsible for the joke JM&A Group/Fidelity Warranty (and possibly Sansone) is playing on people by promising them the world and giving them nothing. Perhaps the Better Business people should get involved, after all I fell people are getting cheated.
