JMC Equipment Danmar Equipment specs not as advertised or promised Bohemia New York
We bought a Danmar car lift from JMC Equipment. It was not the specs advertised. We found manufacturer's defects which could not be seen until assembly was completed. The manufacturer accused us of lying - pistons never leak ! Local distributor who in their sales pitch promised that we should buy locally from them as they are available to help with any problems we might have at any time. When we had problems, they didn't even respond. Although their posted policy is to send an authorized factory tech to evauate and fix the problem, this did not happen as they said we must have caused the problem. How can you make a sealed piston leak ? Spent a lot of money to have people call us liars. Now we are stuck with a lift with no support from the manufacturer or distributor. Could have bought from Amazon and probably gotten more help.
