Beware of people (known as "tracers") offering to help you collect your refund for a fee. You do not need to hire someone to collect your money. You can obtain your refund directly from HUD for free.

If you feel that you've been misled or in some way harmed by a tracer; or you've been contacted by someone asking you to become a tracer, who you believe misled or harmed you.

To everyone who has been ripped off by JMW Financial Services. Report them to www.hud.gov! Use the check for refunds link. This will bring you to the consumer alert that I have copied and pasted above. Do Not Let Them Get Away With Ripping You Off! The newspapers that are running these ads are well aware that there are hundreds of complaints on JMW Financial Services and should be ashamed of theirselves for taking part in ripping off consumers. The newspapers do not care as long as they are paid their fee of $7.95 per line or whatever it may be to place the ad. SHAME ON YOU!!
