Joan Olson Great View Danes Failure to return refundable deposit…. Vienna Missouri
I have not received refundable deposit of $100 owed to me. I contacted Joan Olson in early December of 2013 regarding the purchase of one of her great dane puppies. She urged me to wire her a $100 via Walmart's MoneyGram to be put on a waiting list for the opportunity to pick one of her puppies. She reassured me several times that it was a completely refundable deposit but it gave me the opportunity to decide if I wanted one of her puppies. On December 19th I wired $100 for a fee of $11.40 to Joan Olson of Missouri. As I was at the end of the waiting list, it wasn't until January 1 when all of her puppies had been spoken for except the runt and on other that I was allowed to chose. By that thime, I had fallen in love with a great dane from another breeder and purchased their puppy. I notified Joan immediately and she was very understanding and said she would send my money to me via mail including the fees I was required to pay to wire her the money. I did not recieve the money promptly as promised and again contacted her on January 27th via text. Her response was "Oh, so sorry! I guess I forgot. I'll get it right out to you!" Well, to date I have yet to receive the monies owed to me. I even sent her a text yesterday stating that I had not received the money owed to me but she has yet to respond. in short, Joan Olson has not kept her word. She was insistent about receiving my refundable $100 deposit yet fails to refund rightfully owed money to me. I just want to warn future buyers that she is not an oustanding business woman in our society. I find her practices fraudulent!

I initially filed a complaint against Joan Olson. However, hours after filing the report I was notified that the check had been sent and I am now happily in recent of the $100 deposit. In short, her only fault was that it took a month to refund me my money after stating that she would do it promptly. All is well that ends well and I wish Joan wonderful success with her beautiful danes.
