I purchased a puppy from this woman, I was looking for the perfect companion, new baby for my family. I thought she was an honest person who I could trust. I was very much mistaken.
After numerous attempts, and me begging of this woman to rectify the situation (which was that I was sold a horribly under weight, malnourished, unhealhty and parasite infested puppy).
I did my own work trying to find out exactly who I had purchased a puppy from. This woman is defrauding our government. We wonder why things are so bad in our economy right now? People like this woman!! She says she is disabled, and draws a check from the tax money all working US citizens pay, while on the side she sells horrible puppies to unsuspecting people fraudulently. This lady is not only committing crimes against the animals she keeps in surely deplorable conditions, but she is committing federal fraud by collecting SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY while selling puppies for CASH MONEY UNDER THE TABLE!
Anyone who has purchased puppies from or done any business with this woman needs to report her to the Social Security Administration, the IRS, and the Oklahoma Tax Commission, as well as the USDA.
She also is collecting a Social Security check for her son illegally. So, if you have any info that can stop one more person from mooching from our tax dollars and you, and from abusing dogs and puppies, then report her! They even offer a reward!

I have purchased 2 Chihuahua's from Joanna Dixon ..both were Adults and I still have one of them ... He is now 8 years old and is in the same healthy state as when I received him over 4 years ago from Joanna Dixon ... She has followed thru on all of her stated policies and guidelines to her dogs ..and I am very happy about how she talks to and keeps in touch with people she sells dogs to ... We talk to her on a regular basis ... I have read the allegations and find they are all based in falsehoods from the person in Washington DC .. That is not the way Joanna does business .... nor are any of her dogs malnurished or mistreated in any way .... these negative statements should be withdrawn or removed ... There is no truth in any of them

If any of the dogs are malnourished that were bought previous it is due to the irresponsiblity of the owners.I know her personally.Her dogs are vet checked prior to leaving her home throughly.This woman is not defrauding the government.She is not disabled,nor does she draw a check from the tax money all working US citizens pay.I don't think she is old enough for Social Security Disability.And she is not drawing a Social Security check on her son either.Here dogs probably live better than most people.

I see all the innuendos, but I do not see any proof of what you are saying. I know Joanna well enough to know she always offers a refund upon return of the puppy if a puppy has a congenital problem, as all reputable breeders do. But very few will let a buyer keep a puppy and refund the purchase price with no proof the puppy has/had a congenital problem and not have the opportunity to have the puppy examined by the breeder's Vet.
What was your solution to rectify the situation? Have you seen her kennel? How do you know she keeps her dogs in deplorable conditions? How do you know anything about Social Security benefits? Do you have proof of your allegations? Do you know puppies have to have a health certificate from a Vet before they can be shipped?

I Purchased Chihuahua adults from Joanna Dixon .... on 2 different occasions over 3 years ago and have kept in touch with her over the years ... She is a very honest and forthright person , caring for her dogs as if they were her own kids .... She is a inspected and approved AKC breeder from the American Kennel Club every year as we are also and as such must have clean healthy dogs and puppies and a very clean environment for them .. Both of the dogs we received were exactly as she described to us and are still a happy part of our family .... they are the same weight as when we received them and all are just as healthy as Joanna sent them to us ...
I feel that these allegations are just false .. people that have made up stories to cover themselves ... because they (in my opinion) were told of any issues of those dogs they received if they had any prior to Joanna sending the dog to them , the same as when we purchased a dog ... The latest dog was not even received by the person making the complaint .... as Joanna still has it ..... so anyone reading this just take all the complaints as a hoax ... very untrue and made up

Wow! These are terrible allegations. Do you have proof of these things? I purchased a pup from Joanna years ago, and she's always been healthy and happy. Joanna has called or e-mailed over the years just to see how she's doing. I also know several other people who have purchased pups from her as well and they're all happy and healthy. To me, she's always been a lady who loves her dogs. Also it's one thing to attack an adult, but why on earth would anyone bring her son into this. That says an awful lot about the character of the person writing this complaint. Just shocking!

To Whom It May Concern,
I have known and done business with Joanna Dixon for over ten years. She has always been honest and spoke the truth to me. She is not on Social Security and neither is her son. She is married and her husband supports the family.
I know her dogs are vet checked and everyone I ever got from her was healthy and well taken care of. Joanna loves and does take care of her dogs.
I would not heaitate to buy another one from her in the future.
