A person named Joanne Boatwright posed as a buyer for an $8 dollar book, mailed me UPS and overnight payment of $1545 dollars on a check made out to me from a company called Great Lakes Power Companies, a mechanical supply company in Mentor Ohio. The Ups envelope was mailed in El Segundo, Ca with a label from Louisville KY. Then I received an e-mail saying a mistake had been made and I was overpaid, please western union the difference in the payment to an address In Virginia to a Lisa Ferrill. The bank in Mentor Ohio informed me the check was a fraud scam before I cashed or deposited it. False Buyer trying to defraud with false or stolen checks.
