Contrary to the rebuttal he posted here, the owner and CEO of JobFinders painted a very different picture in an article in the Orange County Register (1/28/2002). He made it very clear that the company does NOT hook people up to jobs. He said the company's focus is to put "up to 200 companies" in the hands of their clients. He admitted that not he or any of the counselors for the company have any specific or academic qualifications for the work they perform. They also do NOT link people with specific jobs; they are simply marketers (and you are the product).

The sales pitch I received, which almost snared me until I read the article mentioned above, was very slick. A huge binder was tossed on the table. Though the top of the binder contained a few testimonial letters, it was stated that the rest of the pages in the binder contained the long list of jobs at my consultant's disposal ("So many that I can't keep the web site up-to-date with my available positions."). I had not answered some of the questions on their questionnaire, as I did not believe they applied to my job search, and the counselor immediately picked up on those as my "depression" that someone of my talents should not be going through. "Let us get you out there and we will get you in a position tailored to you."

Stay away from this place. They provide a service, but it is overpriced and something you can do yourself for a lot less.

"Methink thou doest protest too much." You know, Ron, until you began your defensive campaign to smear your victims we barely noticed you. Now I think we need to pay more attention to you.

You need to understand that this website is dedicated to defending victims. And that includes onslaughts from jackasses like you. You are the loser, bud, having fallen prey to one of the most mundane fallacies... We are dedicated to justice and fairness for consumers, and ad hominem attacks will not be tolerated; it's like being raped by you twice.

The old addage, "Where there's smoke, there's fire," attained its status because it's true. We would have respected your company if you had applied tried and true principles of customer service and accepted responsibility for this debacle.

It is our experience that those companies that go on the attack usually have something to hide. In fact, your tactics appear dangerously close to another major employment rip-off. Do you have, or have you ever had any connection with Bernard Haldane Associates (BHA)? Jobfinders International has an unsatisfactory business performance record including misrepresentation and noncompliance with promised services.

Word of advice: Change your tune and take care of these problems to satisfaction. Read the BHA book of fate and learn. They are going down for their corruption. Repent, for your day of redemption is at hand.

In my initial responses to these accusations I have provided details of our program and invited the executive with the ability to listen and evaluate to come in and make up their own mind.



This report has again been filed by someone who will not identify themselves--that identfication would undoubtedly expose the true rationale behind this complaint.



I have offered facts and an invite to anyone to come in and have those facts validated. This clever person only delivers unsubstantiated accusations.

JobFinders offers a service to aid those who need assistance in finding employment. We do the homework, prepare all the written material and present it to the client to approve. We are also giving them counsel on how to control the interview and negotiate the offer. If the client does do not like the plan, even after it is develop and presented to them, they can cancel and get 85% of the fee refunded. If you aren't willing to invest something in yourself, then we don't want you as a client anyway. It is hard for me to see how we are taking so much advantage of someone with that program.



All our clients are managers and executives. We expect them to be capable of evaluating the presentation and to cancel if they do not feel it represents a value investment.



The Register Reporter this individual is quoting took over two hours to interview me, and typical of reporters, put my words together to suit the story she had made up her mind to report at the very beginning of her investigation. With reporters you get no rebuttal--it all their way or nothing.



This individual filing this report is making negative comments about a program that he never saw--yet he can be critical of it. If you really haven't been successful in finding the job you want, and if you want to find out if we rip people off, come go through our program--we give everyone the opportunity to cancel and get their money back AFTER they see what we do. But please, don't be critical about that which you don't know!
