i recently stayed at americas best in pompano florida, they made me pay twice and scammed me[long story]
although i did make over 20 phone calls to booking.com and show evidence emailed and faxed in i was not given any refund, the motel has evidently a software program that removed any activity to do with their busuness
my recent bank report shows nothing but my cash reciept and booking email varification shows i paid twice
booking.com honored the scammer motel
