Hello, I am the REAL Joey that lists on craigslist for automotive services. Today, I re-listed my ad on craigslist and I had noticed someone else had copied my ad and has been using it but changed the email and phone number. So I went on google and SUPRISE, here I am trying to clear my name.

Yes, my name is Joey but I am not this clown! He is a hack mechanic and a ripoff from what I have read.

For me, I have been repairing vehicles for 3 years now without one unhappy customer! HONEST TO GOD!

So if you see this ad below on craigslist, BEWARE! Ask and I will send a photo of myself to prove I am not the clown in this post. I'm much better looking too!

And again, before you hand your keys over to someone you just met on craigslist,question them, ask for certifications, google thier name, look around thier shop, ask for references, and last but not least....does he look legit?

This goofball (Joey Cipolla) will do anything, including posting idiotic responses, including using a woman's name (?) on Ripoff Report about work he's done (not really!) on other cars.  

There's no one by the name of Sharon Kacl that even exists.

Joey Cipolla...is now conning people (as of 8/16/13) at A&S Auto Repair, 5748 W. Higgins, Chicago.  I saw him just the other day on that stupid cell phone of his. Typical!  He's still placing ads on Craig's List too...this time offering FREE towing, Jefferson Park!

What YOU should do --

1. File a complaint with the Chicago Police Dept., when they ask is this a civil or criminal matter say criminal, or they won't take the complaint.  The Detective I spoke to name was Pellegrino.  She wasn't very much help, but maybe if enough people call her she'll actually do the job she's paid to do -- which is to serve & protect!

2. File a complaint with the Attorney Gen'ls office.  When I did (last year 2012) the attorney told me I was the only one who did, they won't do an investigation if only one person files a complaint.  Please file a complaint with them.

3. File a complaint with Business Affairs and Consumer Protection, their number is 312-744-6060, ask to speak to Gus Apostolos or Gwen Centeno.  Once again, I was the only one who ever filed a complaint with them.  Cipolla has a judgement against him by the City for over $7,000

4. File a complaint against him with Pro Se Court, easier than Small Claims Court.

5. Call his parole officer, Offcr. P. Wosar, 800-666-6744  Report him.

6. Call the Mich. Dept of Corrections, talk to R. Schueler 517-335-1381  Report him.

7.  Finally if he has your car, call 311 and tell them he's operating without a business license and retrieve you car ASAP (with the police if necessary) if he gives you a hard time.

The only reason I didn't mention the Will County Sheriff's Dept, like the other person, is because (although I did in the past) they ONLY serve the warrant's, it's the Att'y Gen'l's office that issues them.

I can't stop him by myself, PLEASE DO YOUR PART!!  Talking about him or writing about him on Ripoff Report won't do anything.

Joseph Cipolla and his friends destroyed my truck as well. He and his ex-con friends took my money but never completed the work. The spent the money I gave them for my auto repair on illegal prescription drugs, which Joe takes, but also sells. Joseph has an extensive criminal history, with years spent in prison. He is a compulsive liar, and makes his living defrauding others. I reported him to the Will County Sheriff, and there is also a report on file with the Attorney General's Office of Illinois and Michigan. In addition, I contacted his Parole Officer in Illinois, and reported Joe to the Parole Department in Michigan, as well as ASE and the BBB (he claims he's ASE Certified, but he is not; he claimed the business he had -which is now closed- was BBB certified, but it was not either). I also reported him to the City of Chicago for failure to pay tax on his business (my attorney did the research), and also for failure to possess a City of Chicago Business License.  You can do a general search of the Clerk of the Circuit Court among the various municipalities around the West Suburban area of Chicago and find even more of his criminal history (from auto theft, to his numerous traffic fines, to the many civil cases against him). I would sue him, but he already owes $$$$$$ in restitution, and he will not be eligible to complete his probation until he pays what he owes, which of course will be never.

Ah, Joe - you're back at it again. You completely destroyed my car - my transmission, burned holes in my seats, pulled out a sensor, didn't do the work you were paid to do, worked with Sergio to con me, and then wouldn't give me my car back. And now you're advertising on Craigslist yet again. You just got off on 2 counts of auto theft in Will County - you're kinda like Teflon. But rest assured that you have left a trail of destruction in your wake, and Karma will catch up with you.

I am aware of this guys past...he works on my Range Rover and my wifes Mercedes. He always does a great job and we have referred many people his way. I just talked to Joe about this complaint, and the email you sent me. You are the only person who is having the police knock on your door, not Joe. We've filed civil redress in two counties. You should expect men in pretty uniforms with shiny badges at your place of business this week we're assuming.

You really must have nothing better to do with your time. Enjoy the embarrassment. We will also continue to have you served over and over again.
