Complaint Review: joe cutrone-6th planet auto parts

I ordered an ecm(computer) for our Saturn Vue. Mr. Cutrone said he would send one right out-which he did. The problem was that he sent out one for a different model and it is not compatible. I called him and he apologized and said he would send out the correct one right away. A week passed, then two. I got one e-mail from him stating that his work truck had broken down and he had lost two days work due to that. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but lets be realistic here, the mailman comes to your business and you have people working for you that could have shipped it in your supposed absence. I tried to contact him again and got no answer. Several attempts were made via e-maill and phone with no reply. My girlfriend to whom the car belongs attempted to call and got a very snotty female on the phone who assured her that Joe would call her back-guess what......  no call and still no part. Our car has been down for quite some time and I had to source the needed part from elsewhere. He advertises a 1 yr warranty but obviously has no intent of ever making good on the deal. I want my money back and am fairly certain I will never see it. Upon further investigation, this seems to be his m.o. and as he has many complaints against him for the same type of behaviour.
