 I am reporting my horrible experience with Joe's AV. I allowed myself to get caught in an internet Ponzzi scheme when I was looking for the best price on a 65" Tv. The company Joe's AV popped up advertising the best price by a few hundred dollars. After making the purchase online for the tv, 5yr warranty, free wall mount and free shipping. The next day I get a email to call to confirm. It was then that Joe angrily and rudely stated that Free shipping wasn't free and what was meant by free was that their company would call the before delivery to notify me of time of delivery. Though frustrated by the unprofessional tone in which he spoke to me and the sudden bait and switch I went ahead and agreed to pay the $129. The next day after that I got an email of my invoice, the shipping was now $149, the warranty I paid $149 went from 5 years to 2 years, they added another unauthorized charge of $39.95 for quote safe shipping.

At this point I'm feeling very put off by this whole deal and started to search the net for reviews that were not linked to his website.. My stomach flipped after I saw one bad review after another. The BBB rates Joe's AV with an F. I called Joe right away and canceled my order or at lease tried too. The guy went ballistic and start calling me names and threaten to charge me a restocking charge for a tv he lied about already shipping the but couldn't produce a tracking number. The real reviewers complaints were almost identical to my experience...the switch and bait, the extra unauthorized charges, the rudeness, the name calling, the fake tracking number. And for some the folks who finally did receive their order it took over a month. This is a total Ponzzi scheme at best. I ended up calling my credit card company and canceling my card. I could never trust my card in the hands of a person like that. I'm not one to take time to write unsatisfactory reviews like this but I don't anyone to go through what I went through with this suppose company. Stick with your well known brick and mortar companies.
