Complaint Review: Joe Soares - Democo And Great Outdoors Vacation Rentals - Big Bear Ca.

Joe Soares also owner of Democo of Orange, Ca. solicited my husband and I to join their new rental business in Big Bear Ca in Oct.' 08. We signed up as we were impressed by their great marketing brosures.(sp?}

All went well for three months, then they fell 2 months behind in our payments. They were keeping 30%, and March and April we received nothing. Calls were not answered, (only one saying their computers were not adding right and they were doing it by hand......We called the first week of May to the 800 # and was told they were in jail for fraud. They took money on internet bookings for our home for Memorial Day weekend ..We met the family while we were searching for information and honored their stay for a small fee.......This is too wordy, all We would like to know is if there is any more homeowners out money.....We are owed over $2000.00......HELP
