Complaint Review: Joerg M. Wittenberg M.D. D.D.F.

I made an appointment for a routine check up. I had some rocks cleaned out, and doctor Joerg Wittenberg told me that I needed a root canal and that it would cost $2,500. My insurance company wouldn't cover it, so I paid cash. My appointment was schedueled two and a half weeks from that day.

My brother in-law is a also a dentist and we saw each other a week later. He examined my teeth and said that the root canal in not necessary and that I was getting ripped off. I called Doctor Wittenberg to cancel the appointment, his secretary told me he would return my call. He didn't return my call, so I kept calling and demanding my money back. A few days later I was told that he is on an urgent business trip!! I was told this 3 days before I was supposed to have my appointment for the root canal!!

Liar! Thief!
