Complaint Review: John Baier Sara Basara and Alex Borondy of RE/MAX Escarpment Realty Inc. Brokerage

 We were blatantly lied to and manipulated by these realtors John Baier, Sara Basara and Alex Borondy of RE/MAX Escarpment Realty Inc., Brokerage. They showed us their own listings only and we were told that the current owners made $150,000 in upgrades to include all new windows, doors, granite and marble floors in the bathrooms/kitchen. When we stumbled across pictures from the previous seller's listing they show these were already installed prior to the seller's purchase. We asked for receipts which were barely a fraction of the purported updating and did not include any windows, granite , marble etc. When I addressed this with them, their answer was "anyone can tell the windows are over a year old". John Baier and Sara Basara were often late for the appointment and even showed up once inebriated. These scammers were determined to sell us their own listing which was an overpriced flip. These liars engaged in misrepresentation, deliberate ambiguity, exaggeration and omissions.
