Complaint Review: John Beck Free And Clear Mentoring Of America

John Beck Free And Clear,Mentoring Of America, TaxClub Call for Help...I am a recent victim & request the help of other victims (Trying to recoup 15000+) Salt Lake City Utah

I honestly do not know what to say...I feel very stupid that I did not seek better advice before venturing into the John Beck progam in mid December 2007...I am writing this as a call for help as I have read some of the other complaints for this company realize that they are true.

It is difficult for me to explain all of the Red Flags that I experienced and I guess my anxiousness for a better future prompted me to believe them. I have felt very uncertain about this company since then and have only done 3 coaching sessions.

In December and January I looked at the various John Beck Land sites and looking beyond the fact that these sites are sub-par professional looking, I found much of the information to be inaccurate. For instance I looked at the site and found a tax foreclosure auction list for my hometown in Lincolnton, North Carolina. According to the list there were 133 properties and a couple of them had gone to auction in November 2006, when I called the city government of Lincolnton they told me that they had no record of an auction even close to that date and that the most they ever auction a house is once every 1-3 years. At first this alarmed me but I wrote it off as a reporting mistake...I should have realized that a program charging that much and not confirming and double checking its sources is highly suspect...(Beyond the almost begging approach of the sales people to convince you to join...the sub-par information sent in the mail, and other minor clues of a program not worth 15000)

I don't have detailed records, but I am mustering as much accurate dates and records as I can to plead my case. I am extremely anxious and need some support to help me through to right this foolish mistake of mine...My credit cards are maxed and I need to address this ASAP, I already received a red flag report for my credit and I need to get out of this immediately before my finances start causing any unforseen problems...I know I am rambling now, but I am usually much better at decision making and am a hardworker...I have just recently fully comprehended the blaring nature of this scam and just want to do what is necessary to correct this wrong.

Anonymous in California or anyone else I have read please contact me with any advice you have...I am starting with your step 1 and writing a letter to Mentoring of America requesting my funds be refunded...and that no longer feel there program is effective and request cancellation and refund...I will then file with the Utah Department of Consumer Protection (or something like that) Thank you for giving me some hope that this can be corrected. I was starting to feel alone and desparate.

That's right. A reader of Ripoff Report who was scammed by this same Mentoring of America LLC back in 2003 just recently read my steps on these pages and implemented my advice. The result is that this person is now going to be getting their money back from Mentoring of America (about $5,000).

See it here:

To everyone reading this, it makes no difference how long ago Mentoring of America cheated you. Follow my steps and advices and you too are likely to get your money back as long as you never quit fighting. I personally got all my money back from them after more than two years had passed once I finally figured out what I needed to do after all else failed.

MY STEP BY STEP GUIDE:

Here is my guide to getting your money back from John Beck's Mentoring of America LLC of Utah: ( I accidentally forgot to add the link in my previous response to you, so here it is again.)

http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff221580.htm

What was the exact dollar amount you paid Walter? You might be the highest yet that I have seen.

ANOTHER RECENT VICTORY AGAINST JOHN BECK/MENTORING OF AMERICA LLC:

Here is yet another person you just the other day got back a full $10,695 refund by following my steps. This brings my revenge tally to $85,597 in 8 months. I am going to do everything I can to help you.

See it here:

http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff238771.htm

Your refund Walter, would bring my tally to over $100,000!

IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW LONG AGO YOU BOUGHT THIS GARBAGE, YOU CAN GET A REFUND:

Even if you are beyond the 90 day period to dispute with your credit card don't worry. Keep in mind that I got my money back after more than two years once I figured out what to do after all else failed. It makes no difference how long ago it was. I never signed and returned the "Enrollment Confirmation" pages they mailed me. I also complained about the fake "100% money back guarantee" their lowly salesman JAYDER SALAZAR gave to me in order to get me to buy, as well as other lies, false statements, and completely wrong and incorrect advice on the coaching calls by clueless fake coaches.

Here is a person who recently read and applied my suggestions on these pages and is now going to get a full refund as a result. This person was scammed for about $5,000 back in 2003 by this same Mentoring of America LLC and for the exact same product, coaching calls, and service they charged you $15,000 for!

CHARGING PEOPLE DIFFERENT PRICES BASED ON THEIR CREDIT CARD'S AVAILABLE LIMITS IS FRAUD:

Walter, I would also suggest that you strongly make it known in all your complaints the fact that you got charged $15,000 for the same 10 John Beck coaching calls (20-30 minutes each) other people have paid between $1,500 and $15,000 for. Print out some of the countless complaints on this site and highlight the different prices people have paid. Include these pages with your Utah Complaint form. You like everyone else got charged a price based on the credit limits of your credit cards which is fraud.

When you go to Wal-Mart or Best Buy, the cashier does not charge each person a different price that varies by thousands for the same product based on how much money they can fork out. Mentoring of America does and you can prove this to the authorities Walter, with all the complaints about them on this site.

Nonymous in California...

I appreciate the response and help. I will keep in contact with you as best I can it would help to use e-mail or instant messenger.

To comment on some of the details you mentioned...I first spoke with the company on 01DEC...and do not think I officially made payment of the 15K until the 15th...I will check my records better...so I believe the 90 day cut off you mention ended on March 15 approximately...about 20 days ago.

I have printed your response and am following your instructions.

Again Thank You.

Walter,

I need you to answer this question for me:

Did the sales person who tricked you into signing up for this at the price of $15,000 over the telephone ever mention to you that you had 3 days to cancel for a full refund starting the day you get your coaching materials in the mail, that same day you gave them your credit card info over the phone to pay for this junk?

If they never told you that you had three days to cancel for a full refund (they sometimes don't tell people this on purpose so that they don't try to cancel) by Utah consumer statute and by the Utah Telephone Fraud Prevention Act, this is illegal and your right to cancel will now be extended to 90 days for that. Please answer this question for me.

HERE IS MY ADVICE TO YOU WALTER.

The FIRST thing I want you to do is call your credit card/bank and file a dispute on the Mentoring of America charges of $15,000 if you are still within 90 days of paying for this garbage if you have not already done so. Show them all the complaints against them that are on this site and on the internet. Also show them this news video coverage showing the lawsuits filed against Mentoring of America LLC in Utah not too long ago. Copy and past the link below. Wait for the commercial to end, then the story will begin.

wkrc.com/mediacenter/?videoId=10945=9

The SECOND thing I want you to do is call Mentoring of America and request that your remaining coaching calls be put on hold until you are ready to resume again. Don't explain anything or give them reasons as to why, just say that's what you want and that's it for this call. Connect a tape recorder to your phone and record this call. Don't ask for a refund or anything else on this call. Just request that they put the calls on hold and end the call. Don't stay on the phone any longer than is necessary. Ask the person's full name so that they say it to you verbally and it too gets documented on the tape. Now you will have documented proof of this request and who you spoke with in case you later need it.

The THIRD thing I'd like you to is call Mentoring of America back the next day. Again have your tape recorder running to record the call. On this call I want you to only request a refund and to try and use any of those fake money back guarantees that the Mentoring of America sales person who tricked you into joining for $15,000 might have given you in the beginning. Get the person to give you their full name so that it gets documented too. Give them several opportunities to honor you those promises you where given and your request for a full $15,000 refund. I guarantee you won't get a refund. What you are trying to do here is document that you did request to cancel as well as catch any of their lies or intimidation tactics on tape. If you do catch any of this on tape, send a copy of this tape to Utah Investigator Ao Pauga along with your Utah Division of Consumer Protection complaint form. You keep cool and professional during the call as much as you can. After you've given them several opportunities and they get to the point were they tell you that they have your recorded on tape agreeing to "all sales final" and that you are never going to get your money back, that they welcome you to take them to court and you will loose etc., end the call. Send the tape to Ao Pauga with your complaint form.

NOW LET'S RATTLE THEIR CAGE AND GET THEM TO COMPLY TO YOUR REFUND/CANCELLATION REQUEST:

Here are the important steps that are going to help get you your money back. Copy and paste the link below, and follow the section there that is called "My step by step guide to getting your money back from John Beck's Mentoring of America LLC of Utah":

Copy and paste:

File each and every one of those complaints I numbered there. And do them ALL AT THE SAME TIME or within a few days of each other. What you want to do is land all these complaints on Mentoring of America's desk at the same time. This hits them extra hard.

Report back and keep me updated. I can't help you if you disappear and never keep me updated like a few people have done.
