Complaint Review: John Beck's Mentoring Institute Of America

I was working on a refinery @Conoco-Philips in Belle Chase, LA; working min. of 10 hrs. a day 7 days a week to rebuild after Katrina to get gasoline production back to the American public(YOU & ME).

Mentoring of America called numerous time & I kept telling them I didn't have the time because of the work, hours, & conditions in LA after the hurricane.
Finally on Thursday, March 16th, 2006 they managed to keep me on the phone for over 2 (two) hours, shifting me between one person then another and then another until (with the 3 day right of recision being explained to me, by them) I agreed to signing on.

The next three days I tried to cancel to no avail. So in so is not available, or the person is on the other line, could you hold? Nobody would come to the phone, therefore I'd hang up and call back. It didn't do any good!

When I got back home (TN) I tried contacting them, and said I was requesting a refund. They said they'd see me a refund agreement. I've never received it.
I've contacted Utah Division of Consumer Protection. Wish me luck.

They got me for $3295.00; plus in May they got me for another $39.95. I never signed their Enrollment Confirmation, which authorizes the $39.95 and enrollment in the program.
