I signed up for the John Becks Profit Tax sale Properties. Paid $39.99 plus $14.50 shipping. To find out on line that Tax Lien Properties if you buy them, can be bought back if the owner of the house or property does pay up their back owed property taxes.

Let alone, when I called the 800 They too wanted to see what kind of credit cards I had,and how much I could spend for their support team to walk me through the whole deal. They said at least $2.600 was needed. I would get one on one training once a week. I would supposedly get 1/2 my invest back after the first sale of house or property I had bought, and then the other half upon selling the 3 property or house.

Strange no mention was made of that at all,on John Becks info commerical...

Then when I recieved my package it was maining CD's and I would have to pay extra to receive the books. Plus when I started digging a lot of the sites in the few booklets I received they were not John Beck Sites, nor did they have anything do do with finding houses or properties.

I mentioned I lived in New Mexico, and on the websites that were listed in the booklets, all auctions don't start till APRIL 2007. When I ordered I told the REP that I wanted to buy in NM.
She made no mention, that at this time that is not possible.

Buy houses or properties for pennies on the dollar, yet the forget to mention the investor might be out of their hard earned money for the orginal owner has up to a certain time to pay up their back owed taxes, and then you are out in the cold.... In more ways than one. This goes for quite a few states.

Plus those guys who wanted me to make a decision really strong armed me to make a decision to let go of my credit cards, and $2600 for they said it would be worth every penny for that 5 week course, with supposed personal trainer....They called me back twice within 1/2 hour,to make the decision, and after going to the internet, and found an website, about what the tax lien could mean. I said NO WAY !!! Although I still have the program they sent me. I still feel I have been had,and ripped off.

It sounded like it was on the up and up,and their commerical was very convincing. They should put people like this out of business. For boy, who they can get away with it,here in the USA I just can't understand.

PS: Maybe you can send us information about this shady John Beck.

The infomerical never mentions the expensive real estate coaching program done by the fradulent Mentoring of America LLC out of Utah. The company who has faced numerous lawsuits this year.

After you buy the John Beck TV informercial package for $39.95, your contact info is given to Mentoring of America LLC in Utah as a lead. Only for one of their sociopaths to call your house and attempt to coerce you into spending thousands for their worthless coaching with fake money back guarentees and other lies. The infomercial is nothing more than a lead generator to produce name and numbers for which to call people and upsell the coaching to, at a price they determine based on your available credit limit of your credit cards.

Their real estate coaching program is utter garbage.

What I found when doing what their coaches told me to do, was that in many states, you legally have to own the properties and pay tax for at least one year before you can legally resell it to anyone to try and make a profit. And according to them, I was supposed to buy land and immediately list it on Ebay. Does not work that way.

Also, the coach told me to call the counties and do a search on the title of the properties before I bid and buy, as you will inherit and take over any unpaid debts or liens that are attached to the property or land that you may not know about. Well I found out that the counties can't and won't give you that info, and instead you must go to a title company and pay about $150 per title search you want done. And most of the time even they can't give you a full title search so you are taking a big chance if you buy or bid anyway.

This when there are hundreds if not thousands of parcels to research at one time. That's something you cannot afford to do at $150 each. Even if it was only $30 it's still a bunch of money to spend and you still aren't buying or bidding yet. Just read some of my other posts for my detailed experiences. The program is complete utter garbage that is not even worth $20 dollars, let alone the $1,500 to $15,000 each person here has been charged for it. And it's done by regular employees who work for about $7.00/hour/ have bosses, have to drive to work each day, and know nothing about the subject. They read of training scripts.

If what they taught worked as they claim, their employees would be staying home doing it themselves making more than their measly hourly wages.
