My daughter was interested in modeling and was approached by a 14 year old female at the Robinson Mall. This girl was extremely overweight and she told my daughter anyone can model. Someone called us to schedule an appoinmtent for us to come to an open call. I asked if there was any money involved and they told me there was not. At the open call they told us how they were part of Elite Model Management I later found out this was the first of many lies. I called Eite and they have nothing to do with these schools. At the open callade us A, B or C and only the A's and B's were to come back. I laterfound out that they never give any C's. When we came back they asked us to pay $2,450 for classes and photo sessions with a photographer, and a guaranteed a contract with the Zoom Modeling agency. I paid the money and my daughter began the classes. They were an absolute joke, no organization, taught by people who have little if any modeling or acting experience. The photographer dates the head instructor and when the photographer shoots they try to force you to buy over $150 worth of pictures. The Zomm agency director is a 20 year old kid in jeans with no agency license.

This place is a rip off, go somewhere else!!!

Zoom Agency Working Hard For Their Talent

#2Consumer Comment

Sat, June 25, 2005

I have a few comments for Barbara and any one else who is complaining that John Casablancas is a scam. John Casablancas is a modeling school. They sell modeling classes. They dont lie to you about it, I bought the classes and worked hard.

They told me what their job was and what responsibilities I had. Nothing in life comes easy and the ones who are willing to do what it takes have a better shot at success than those who expect everything to come to them. I paid $2250 for schooling and I feel that It was worth every penny. I noticed that everyone at the center was very nice and helpfull, if you have any problems they are willing to give you advice and help you above and beyond what is expected.

Unfortunatly, when I first started with JC the Zoom Agency was a joke. They had two ladys named Susan who were rude un-helpful and didnt do anything. They would lie to you about jobs, tell you that you would get paid and then you would never get paid at all! But the owners soon found out what was going on and fired them both.

When I found out that Susan Henderson had been fired I called John (the kid) to introduce myself. He got me some jobs to do ( which he never lied about how much i was to be paid).

That "20 year old kid" is someone who when I started at JC what just an appointment setter, who with his hard work earned the position as agency director. That "KID" has made the Zoom agency one of the top five agencies in its class.

I have been working with Zoom now with a "20 year old kid in jeans" as my agent for about 4 months and he was helped me earn much more back than my $2250.

Before you join John Casablancas, ask yourself this question... Is this something that you want bad enough to work for, They would be a scam if they would promise you things. They dont.

If the answer is yes then call John Casablancas and start today, they will help you so much. If you still dont believe me call John at Zoom. That "20 year old kid" will take time out of his busy day to help you. I've seen him do it.

Oh and Barbra, he does have an agency licence. It is hanging on his wall. Dont complain about people who you have never worked with.
