If this guy, his name is John French, aka J and E Remodeling bids on any work for you..... run..run..run........ This guy scammed me out of $11,000.00. He took my money and didn't even get the permits to start the job. I contracted him on my 4-plex in cincinnati, oh. and he had nothing but excuses why he couldn't start. He will change his phone# after getting your money and do everything possible to hide from you.
Carma will eventually get him back..don't let him get you. If this guy bids on any work for you, please send me any info ( to my email address as I plan to procecute), preferably licence plate, driver license, contractors license (I am sure he doesn't have one) my email is:

This idiot took me for about $750 on a concrete job. He actually showed up, framed the pad, but never poured the concrete. He was using the name J&B pro painting. I have a picture of this man if you need it.

It seems he may have gotten me too. Today will be our third appointment to meet up since giving him my deposit. I gave him $350.00 to start work on a bathroom in my home. He has set days to be there to start work (I even have a contract from him with a date on it) and he no shows every time. He is saying his father was in a car accident. He says he is coming by today to give me my money back as I requested. I guess we will see.
I have his identification number from his Ohio I.D card and I have the license plate number from his Van that he was driving (Kentucky License plate) I also have his birthdate. On the Hamilton County Ohio Clerk of courts site he shows a convictiona nd time served for a theft charge back in 2001. I am finding it very hard to trust this individual. The name of the company he used for me was SilkySmoothRemodeling. I also have a e-mail address for him under that company name.
