Good Ol' Boy Pasco County Administrator John Gallagher makes about $130,000.00 each year, but won't give a d**n about home builders or the construction industry in general.
For a long time now, the Pasco County Permitting Office has been backlogged with permits not yet done, and Gallagher continues to do nothing. Permits take months and months for a review. Contractors have to wait and get treated like second class citizens. At one point, Gallagher had the GALL to admit to the St. Petersburg Times that, "IT'S HIS FAULT." Yet he continues to collect his paycheck each week and does nothing about the problem.
What about the home builders who cry for better services?
Well, for that they get sent to Gallagher's Administrative Director, Cindi Jolly. She is the one responsible for running the permit office and the inspection office. Aided by her puppet Building Official, Tim Moore, they have managed to create a mess over the last 10 years. It's like the blind leading the blind.
Gallagher continues to do nothing but collect his paycheck.
