Complaint Review: John Irvin

There was a gentleman with the company name of Premium Arts which usually appeared in quotes. I luckily canceled the deposit after a friend of mine told me this was a scam. He had a checking scam whereby he would send checks for people to deposit and offer them ten percent of the check after it cleared. This is part of a scam where he would take your checking account number once you transferred him the money. His telephone number is 703-532-6337. This was an e-mail from him to me. I left out the part where he said my name.

"How are you doing today am glad to inform you that one of our customers made a payment to you which will be delivered by DHL on Tuesday morning. All you have to do is call them for the package with the tracking number (27865113452) you could also check the status of the package at http://track.dhl-usa.com .Please as soon as you have the payment, Take it to your Bank and have it deposited, when that is done, get back to me when the bank says the the funds would be available.
