I purchased a car from John Koons III in June 2002, and have nothing but grief. I went on the internet shopping around for a good price and JKoonsIII seemed to have awesome prices. Later that day my mother and I rushed up there pick out my first car, there we found a black 1999 Mazda 626 that had 65,105 miles on it, and on sale for $8,500 which was awesome.

My monthly payments started out at $356.00 but when I got ready to walk out on two seperate occassions, the payments went down to $249.52 and my months got stretched out to 60 months instead of 36 months. The finance guy was moving Extremely FAST, me and my mother no nothing about buying a car so we trusted this dealership to do us right. the finance guy did not offer us an extended warranty nor did he tell us the APR. When I got home minutes later, I checked the papers I was rushed!!! to sign I realized that my APR is 23.9%. My car price went from $8500.00 to 15995.00 which is almost the price for another car.

Since then I have bought the car back five times to the service dept. for problems I've been having with the car already.(as early as two weeks of having the vehicle) The carfax report was great but something is definitely wrong with my car. The service dept. at JKoonsIII is the pits, due to me bringing the car back more than two times for the same problem. A saleman there recently called me to offer me a 2002 Mazda 626 for the same monthly payments and price, but when I contacted my saleman he said that the letter is sent to everyone. It would be impossible for me to get a 2002 car for the same price. Even though I have a letter to prove that I was offered this deal,I told him that this was false advertisement, and I am beyond unhappy with my experince at John Koons III.
