started out a lady in this hotel. would not let her go until she paid the 900 for the room,,john was told she wanted to come to me..as she was despertly in love with me..john keep saying to me please pay her bill so she can come to you, i will carry her to the airport and see she gets on the plane..so on the 18th i sent him a 900 dollar money gram to him first name abe middle name oluwaseyi last name olasunkanmi country nigeria oyo state city oke ibadan zip 23402 address e7/105 oke ibadan...money order was cash 900 dollar one ref no.37502545 then the 350 one the next day as she had to pay extra for luggage and a visa money gram cash ref no. 37502545..if i did that he would get here on the plane to me and see to it personelly.then the next day, the 20 th..the immigration athortity would not let her go until she had 5000 in hand to fly,,this money not to be spent but handed to me when she got off the plane in dallas, texas john martins said he would give 2000 and i could send him his money when she got off the plane to me so i sent by cash 3000 by money gram the next mornig the 20th. ref. no 81939858 to first name on money gram was ishola second name was olanrewaju nigeria oyo state for a bta...boarding travel allowance. so i am retired had to go to a lot of trouble to get 4250 dollars sent for a wife,, not a promise one was taken seriously, and now the girl janet james might be worse than all of them...and who knows i might have been talking to a sweetalking man all the jucy overtones he or she was pulling so we have john martins, james mark, and janet james all teamed up to decieve honest people,,i hold these type people as murderers...at least the closet thing to it..and should be held accountable,,and punnised and sent to another country and banned from nigeria...now i did not get the girl i dreamed about as my future wife,, and i did not receive anythin in return for her....as all this was promises she would come to me...and of course sinse the 20 of feb..have not heard from anyone to get my money back..and i appreciate, the help in bringing these 3 misfits to the great county of nigeria..this is a bad reputation if john is really the manager of this hotel..just think if he could scam some one as far away as me,,,then be the respectable business man as a servant of guests at the hotel....how confienent to influence them as he knows every move anyone in his hotel.. and a nuesence to human decency...

Just look at the guy, he's so incredibly desirable that any woman would be madly in love with him.
And people ask me why I read Ripoff Report! Where else could you get entertainment like this - assuming it's real of course. If it's a hoax, it's still entertaining reading.

Please report this to your local police department. You were a victim of what is general referred to a 419 scam. You will not get your money back and the police will not be able to catch these guys, but at least the theft will be recorded.
By the way, there was never a lady in a hotel, it was all just part of the scam. There is no such thing as BTA tax or fee that is required to leave Nigeria.

this janet james just only knew each other on the internet and she wanted to come to me and marry me..i never saw, met, or knew each other,, she said she wanted me sooo bad..then john martins knew she would be in the hotel from now on as she had no money to pay to get her ticket and documents john was holding until bill was paid...john promised me he would take her to the airport and get her to me if i paid his 900 and then he needed 350 more,, so i did...then came the bta thing james mark nigeriaimmigeration96@yahoo.com john told me a bta boarding travel allowance had to have 5000 in hand to come to me,,,i refused to do this and then he said he would put in 2000 and i could send 3000 to james mark....if i would send him back his 2000 when she got off the plane over here..i agreed.....james mark the immigration officer said he would hand her the money as she got on the plane to come....both men broke their promice to me to render the service of getting her on the plane to me....they are scammers and very good ones to do this horrible thing to me...i was sincere and honest and they were after something ..but did not do the service promised me...now i want my money back or the biggest part of it... i will not stop until justice has been done
