John Mc Donald, listing agent for Coldwell Banker in Palm Springs, CA, desperate to make a sale of a home to buyer who really couldn't afford the property, masterminded a plan to make the deal go through, at the expense of the tenants. Now the tenants are suing the new owners. What a mess.

John Mc Donald coached Craig Fergusson, the owner of a rental property at 295 Mesquite Ave, Palm Springs, CA, to write an agreement that brutally took advantage of the tenant. The agreement said that if the tenant would be willing to move into a property that was for sale, and be willing to show the property to potential buyers, AND move out if the property sold, then Craig Fergusson would return all the rent the tenant had paid, for her trouble. The tenant faithfully followed the guidelines of the agreement, making the property available, allowing strangers into her 'home' almost every day, until it finally sold a few months later. The new owner wanted to live in the house himself, but since he was so strapped for cash, decided, with the coaching of mastermind bully and thief, John Mc Donald, to harrass the tenant into leaving so he could legally keep the rent and push her out of her house. All 3 men agreed on the plan and implemented it flawlessly, with John McDonald calling the tenant himself and bullying her as well. The harassment was relentless and went on all day, every day, with police being called to the scene repeatedly until finally the police advised the tenants to leave the property for their own sanity.

In the end, the tenants lost out on approximately $5,500.00, John Mc Donald made his sale and his commission, and the buyer and seller made off like theives as well.

Coldwell Banker corporate office wouldn't discuss it, and even scoffed at the tenant for thinking they would.

#2REBUTTAL Individual responds

We applaud the free expression that a site like this one affords the public but can only hope that anyone who reads this and actually cares would understand that all the allegations above are the unverified rantings of an obviously bitter, man hating anonymous individual. John McDonald was the real estate agent acting on behalf of and at the direction of his clients in closing what proved to be a difficult and complicated real estate transaction. John McDonald is not an anonymous person nor is Coldwell Banker an anonymous entity. Anyone who would like to or has a real interest in hearing the whole story is free to contact either one.
