Mr. John Mogar and his company New Horizons Debt Settlement failed to pay me eared commissions and when I contacted Mr. Mogar requesting a payment for earned commissions he said he would pay me at his discretion once the client completed the program. I signed two contracts with Mr. Mogar to work as an Independent Contractor. The first contract was rubber stamped with the name New Horizons Debt Relief ( The first clue I should have paid attention to). The second contract was with New Horizons Debt Settlement. Both contracts were identical except for the name change. The contract expressed commissions would be paid up to a maximum of 10 month period and earned as long as customer made their payment arrangements. When asked why the need for a second contract Mr. Mogar explained he wasn't receiving payments by New Horizons Debt Relief whom he had contracted with in some undisclosed type of partnership. Mr. Mogar promised he would pay all commissions earned and I received payments for four months. I acknowledged Mr. Mogar for keeping his agreement and I fully expected to receive remaining payments from Mr. Mogar as long as my customer met their contractual obligation by making their monthly payments.

At the end of the fifth month and into the six month of not receiving payment I called Mr. Mogar and he promised he would have a payment to me after he checked to make sure my customer was actively enrolled in the program. He said he had made payments to other representatives whose customers had dropped from the program costing him money. I understood and waited patiently through the end of the sixth month. In first week of the seventh month I was concerned I wouldn't see any more payments from Mr. Mogar and called his office. After a week of trying to reach him we spoke on the phone and Mr. Mogar told me he would pay me once my customer completed the entire program and only if he decided to pay me at all due to the contract which he could state I had quit the company and forfeited all earned commission.

I was upset by the loss of earned income and thought about going to San Diego and taking him to court. I did the research to find out all his company associations and where he lived but, honestly folks I figured out after two month of unpaid commissions with Mr. John Mogar/ New Horizons Debt Relief/ New Horizons Debt Settlement was not a man of his word or a reputable company. Additionally, my customer was having a horrific experience with New Horizons Debt Relief. I decided to cut my losses and spend my time looking for a reputable company with whom I could partner and earn an above average income. I was excited about the possibility of residual income and helping my customers get out of debt and I was fully prepared to invest by name and professional reputation with John Mogar and New Horizons Debt Settlement.

For those of you considering a partnership with John Mogar/ New Horizon Debt Settlement/ or New Horizons Debt Relief do take caution and understand at the end of the day he can pay or not pay you earned commissions. Don't let your excitement and the thrill of earning above average residual income sway your good judgement. I am sure John Mogar wants to pay you and I can't image why anyone in Today's world would have a business model of screwing the work force but, then again this is a new America. Hand shakes are for personal time in the bathroom and keeping your word well... just watch Showtime's New Series House of Lies. I wouldn't have made this post if it weren't for Jennifer Mogar, I believe she's John Mogar's wife..not sure, but, she showed up on one my social media sites and I got to thinking about Ole John Mogar and I wondered if he screwed over others. So, I came on here to look him up and sure enough there are complaints against him. This is a complaint because I wanted to offer my own experience readers could have independent from the other complaints.

I no longer care about the money Mr. Mogar owes me.  I have since earned that ten times over. I care about the one customer I had whose with New Horizon Debt still being charged a commission after two years in the program. A commission that's going to someone who didn't do 'jack' to earn it. I get a call from her every month or so telling me how much money she has paid into the program and the company isn't settling any of her debt. She's asking me why she didn't just save the money herself. I feel bad for her because she really needs the help. I take her call and we talk on the phone for 5 or 10 minutes about what she can do to unravel her mess. I have lost her as a customer whom I can refer anything but a movie or a joke.

I give John Mogar partial credit for making a partial attempt to pay earned commissions owned to me. He paid almost half the commissions owned so does that make him a half way honest guy? you decide. The question you need to ask is are you willing to risk your best customers if it doesn't go the way you planned. Think about it and then join or don't join Mr. Mogar and his team.

Best of luck to you all.
