I heard the ad on the radio and called on behalf of my 14 year old. I was told I would receive a call back from an agent for an audition. She called me back and we spoke. She wanted descriptives of my child. i.e.- physical appearance, interests, accomplishments...etc. She then told me she would email me with directions and a script for a "GAP" commercial for him to study.
It sounded too good to be true. My son was "exactly what they were looking for"....however, there were so many responses to the radio ad that I should get him there for an appointment as soon as possible, as there were "a limited number of applicants accepted". So, an appointment was scheduled for two days later. I decided to look them up on the www in the meantime. I looked at the website for the BBB and lo and behold....what I saw there made me feel lucky/stupid at the same time. Lucky that I had the insight to look up their credibility and stupid for actually thinking that they were legitimate.

I called "denise" back, identified myself after being put on hold and told her I was cancelling my son's appointment. She asked if she could ask me why and I told her that I inquired about her company on the website for the Better Business Bureau and guess what..........she hung up on me. Nuff said????
I truly hope my commentary saves SOMEONE out there some money.
