I was naive when it came time to sign my daughter up for classes with JRP. I believed what JRP had to say when they told me that my daughter would be a star if she took their classes. I went through the whole speel with blinders on and seeing my daughters face and the excitement she showed was good enough for me to put down $3500.00 towards a 5 year contract.

After reading online the number of dis-gruntled people there were out there due to JRP, I decided to withdraw my daughter the next day. I followed the contract and did it in writing and in person. The receptionist told me that all refunds are processed at the corporate office in New Mexico and gave me Cheryl Wildes name who is in accounting. I contacted Cheryl and she told me that the refund would take 7 to 10 days. This was on May 19, 2008 and I have yet to receive my refund.

I have repeatedly tried to get a hold of Cheryl and she is either busy or out of the office and never has returned my phone call. I also emailed her but have got nothing back. I filed a report with the BBB and also the Attorney General of New Mexico and am waiting to hear from them. It makes me sick to my stomach that a company that claims to teach life skills is nothing but a money scam. I am only thankful that I did not pay anymore but will continue to hound them until I get my refund. JRP are nothing but a bunch of thieves.

I would like everyone to know that I did finally receive a call back and a refund check for my deposit after 3 months. I appreciate the call from one of the directors letting me know that my deposit was going to be refunded and with a certified check. The report was made after months of being frustrated but I talked with the correct person and it looks to be resolved.
