Complaint Review: John Robert Powers

My dream has always been to be a model. My friends and family always had told me to do modeling, also because I had the potential to do it. So when I got a call from the John Robert Powers modeling agency I got so excited. I was thinking to myself that this is my time to shine. I quickly made an apointment with a so called modeling agent on Sunday, Sept 9, 2012. The day came and I was feeling nervous. I did my makeup hair and wore a very sophisticated outfit. I was with my mother that day because they had told me that she had to come with because I still live with her. When we got there, they told all of the people that were auditioning also to come into a room. There were many young kids there with a dream. I was there with a dream. Then a so called agent that woked in the fashion industry started to talk to us. She was from Europe. She started talking about the fashion industry and so forth. When all of a sudden she told the other so called agents to pass around these papers with more information about the other audition that was going to take place next saturday. When they gave me the paper it said that we had to pay up to $6,000 for a photoshoot. When my mother and I seen the paper I just looked at my mom very dissapointed and I felt betrayed. I just walked out of the room. I was supposed to get interviewed right after I had left. I was thinking to myself aren't they suppose to pay us? We are the ones with the dreams of become someone in life and becoming succesful. Obviously we are there to make money not to give money, and also many people do not have that kind of money. I was so disapointed and I hope people do not fall for this scam. JRP IS FAKE!
