Complaint Review: John Temrowski

As promised, I am here to report on an on-going scam of that of Utica attorney, John Temrowski.  Yesterday, was my big trial.  It was clear, in my opinion, that Mr. Temrowski had no clue of what he was doing.  As I have found to be the trait of Mr. Temrowski, his hopes would be that I would not show up and defend myself.  I was running a few minutes late but I did make it. 

We had to wait on another case that was being heard, the case seemed to me to have some importance.  This was when Mr. Temrowski decides to corner me and ask to make a deal.  I told him that unless his deal included the number 'zero' then I wasn't interested.  He said it did.  Temrowski has always served as a mild amusement to me, so I decided to indulge him for a few minutes.  He said that if I would BURY all of the negative publicity on the internet about him then he would settle suit for a zero settlement.  I asked him how I was suppose to do that.  He hadn't a clue and neither did I.  Basically, what he was asking was for me to go on the internet and write a bunch of nice and wonderful comments and reviews about him so that it would push all of the negative things back.  This would be rather hard to do since it would be a lie for one.  I can't think of one positive thing about this man.

This also told me he is beginning to realize that his case is frivolous and has no hope of succeeding.  I hope Mr. Temrowski isn't a poker player because he just showed his hand and he doesn't even have a pair.  I did get the chance to hear Temrowski ramble on in court for I believe almost two hours about every negative thing that was written about him and how it was defamatory and hurt his good name.  To read the things that were allegedly written about Temrowski were almost amusing had it not been for the fact that I have endured this non-sense for nearly three years now and have incurred endless expenses.  

Apparently, because I did not respond to the allegations and motions in a timely manner then my admission was already presumed.  The truth be known, the allegations were so ridiculous that I didn't see any reason to respond; my bad.  From what I heard in court from his own admission, his practice has been greatly impacted over the past several years.  So, in my opinion, he has to find someone to blame in order to regain some of his past business.  It is always easier to blame someone else, than to blame one's self.  Is it possible that maybe Temrowski has shown to be incompetent or maybe just doesn't have any 'bedside' manner with people?  Is this not possible?  If one person can destroy someone's law practice then maybe it wasn't that strong to begin with; just a thought, just an opinion. 

From what I have been told, Temrowski does some criminal work.  If you know anything about the judicial system, very few criminal charges ever go to trial.  Usually the courts just want their money as do the attorneys.  So unless, you are Johnny Cochrane, your skills are seldomly tested.  Generally speaking, you take a check from someone, usually someone that is desperate and scared and you make a deal with the prosecutor.  The difficult part is just getting through law school and hanging the degree on your wall but that's my opinion. 

I do know a little bit about the law as I do have felony on my record that is nearly 20 years old I recall.  I only bring this up because it has been VERY important for Temrowski to tell every single individual at the court house, including the judges, that I have a felony.  In our case evaluation, he went out of his way to tell the panel about my 20 year old felonies.  He also went on to tell them about my college education and how as a result it was making it difficult for me to find a job.  I coudln't help but to laugh.  I don't remember ever having brought Temrowski on a job interview with me.  Plus, with the length of time and the non-violent nature of my offenses, it has never been an issue.  But, of course, Temrowsk never lies. He also went on to tell panel that he represented my ex-wife in 2007 and after it concluded in September of 2007 he had had NOTHING to do with me at all.  Hmmmmm.  That's funny because the first thing I remember was getting ENDLESS letters in October and November of 2007 wanting to see a copy of my marriage license to my new and current wife.  By January or February of 2008, he was back in court arguing about a bunch of stupid ticky-tack stuff that my ex-wife had once again hired him for.  I heard from Temrowski several times throughout 2008 and 2009.  But according to his so-called testimony we had no contact.  So the guy IS a LIAR but unless it's something really important the courts don't really care. 

I do find it amusing about Temrowski's attitude when it comes to that about 'criminals'.  I would guess that Temrowski wouldn't even be in business if it weren't for so-called criminals.  In my opinion, he has quite a predisposition about 'criminals', yet he loves their money.  This is something I think an individual should keep in mind when obtaining his services.  If your check is good he'll cash it, but down deep, he has no sympathy for you.  Now no one ever said that an attorney has to have sympathy for you in a criminal matter but if there isn't a least a little empathy then they are not really going to try to the best of their ability.  Of course, understand that this is my opinion.

Personally, I have always thought attorneys to be the biggest crooks out there.  A crackhead might break into your car and steal your radio or even your car but usually they have an addiction or maybe even a family that needs to eat.  A lawyer will steal your life's savings and not even bother to call you back or say they are 'sorry' for doing such a lousy job.  And, they won't lose a second's sleep.  I find that most don't even listen to you when you are giving them information or a history on the case.  Their standing with the courts and other attorneys is much more important than you.  I can pretty much assure you of that with most attorneys.

Many people may wonder why I continue to post these reports on Temrowski.  I may have stated this before.  This is the only place you will find any justice or satisfaction.  You won't find it in the courts.  I could care less whether Temrowski sues me for a dollar or a million dollars.  This is a matter of principal and I will not stop.  Attorneys, judges, politicians, and major corporations HATE this website.  This empowers the average little guy out there or at least balances the playing field.

I have to keep these reports to the facts, plus I think that adds the most of amount of credibility to what I have to say.  I was absolutely amazed at the amount of time that this man had put into this lawsuit.  It's as if he has something to prove; maybe he does.  Well, so do I.  I will offer this OPINION to anyone out there:  Yesterday, January 29th at 1:30 PM I had a TRIAL for DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER.  We didn't leave until about 4:15pm; no one in courtroom other than myself, Temrowski, the judge and the bailiff.  I like the bailiff, even though he had to hold me on contempt of court once; seems like a nice guy.   Now Temrowski stays in the courtroom until after I left.  I'm sure that was to try and coerce the judge.  Whether it was some off the wall opinion about me or some heresay nonsense he wanted to share or just to ask the judge how his wife and kids were doing to butter him up.   I don't know, I don't care.  Anyways, there must have been over 75 plus pages that he had prepared, yet still wasn't prepared for the trial as he even admitted.  Now neither was I, but that was basically just because I didn't care.  My point being, is how is this guy going to be able to effectively represent YOU in court?  My wife's ex-husband had to tell the guy to 'screw off' because he wouldn't stop calling.  CALL YOUR CLIENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  

I once found an article on this guy about he and a homeowner were going to hold an essay contest for an entry fee and use the proceeds to basically sell the man's home.  As a mortgage broker, I can assure you that this is, if not illegal by real estate standards, unethical.  Temrowski offered his services to help JUDGE the entries.  Can you say conflict of interest?    I kind of find it hard to believe that the wouldn't have at least ran this idea by his family member that is a real estate agent.  The fact remains, he got his name in a local paper and that's all it is with this guy.  It remains easy for me to see why he didn't get in as a Probate Judge in 2002.  I learned this much in my first two days of training as a mortgage broker.

I shall conclude in giving Mr. Temrowski his moment in the spotlight.  As far as all of the allegations of him with prostitutes, over-billing, stealing clients money and other scams.  I did not make those publications.  That is something that you must deal with yourself but don't sue ME for your problems.  My opinion is short and simple, I think you are a disgrace to the legal profession and no amount of money would change my opinion.  BUT THAT'S MY OPINION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I wish LeeRoy luck.  I don't know what he was thinking; sometimes more is less; addition by subtraction.
