Complaint Review: John The Greek Food Concessions

John The Greek Food Concessions is by far the worst employer I've had misfortune to work for.
Last year in July I started working for John Koutoufaris a.k.a. John The Greek. Everything started fine but it didn't take long for John and his family to reveal their true face.
They employ FOREIGN STUDENTS for one reason only: foreign students are cheap labor force for them(they are payed considerably less than their American counterparts), they have nowhere else to go and John The Greek knows that, they can be easily intimidated and BLACKMAILED due to their J-1 visitor status.
Prior to working for John The Greek foreign students sign an in-depth contract explaining their position, working hours, duties and benefits. However most(if not all) of that contract gets breached).

I have been involved in three over 24 hours shifts and I was payed NOTHING for that excruciating overtime, later on some of my American coworkers confided to me that they did get payed. Even though he is required to do so by law, John will not forward Social Security Number in due time to foreign students. Reason? By depriving students of their temporary SSN they have very difficult time picking up and going somewhere else in search for work, even though their J-1 visa grants them that possibility.
In a likely event that students wish to terminate their working relationship with John The Greek Food Concessions they will be told that John will do EVERYTHING in his power to file a detailed report to U.S. IMMIGRATION SERVICE rendering any future request for visa impossible.

Further more, quality of John The Greek's food is average at best and micro biologically alarming at it's worst. Gyro trailers(I haven't worked in pizza trailer) experience frequent power outages, sometimes longer than a working day which can and often will thaw the meat and is hazardous to human health. Not one time I had to clean completely thawed freezer and all the chicken and gyro cones were completely thawed, and then frozen again.
Working with John The Greek is probably nothing what you've experienced in your life. He and his family will know every piece of information about you that they can possibly lay their hands on, in a lot of cases that information will be colorful puzzle of lies and half truths. Having to put up with excruciating work tempo, uncompensated overtime, constant yelling-intimidation-blackmail-harassment- last you would want is for somebody to pry in you life, and to be the subject of every gossip in John's family.
I hope this rip-off report will help future would be workers to avoid John The Greek Food Concession in big, big, big circle. I have witnessed many unimaginably unpleasant moments regarding John The Greek and his workers, on my own skin I felt all that I have just described in this article.
Bottom line, stay away from that guy and his trailers in Pennsylvannia. If you are customer he will treat you good I guess, but God Almighty help you if you ever decide to work for him. You will regret that for a long, long time
