JOHNNIE WALKER, RV-Las Vegas, NV- People of Color not Made to feel Welcomed and Treated with Respect Impartial Treatment to People of Color Las Vegas Nevada
I have been a guest with friends visitong this business- and the treatment and services as people of color has not been good. I witnessed the disrespect by employees that work there, to towards ny friends and (one time to me)- on several occassion when I came along with them.
The disrepect is blatant and often times subtle-where one would have seen such behavior before, to pick it up.
-Once incident was we came into one main location and would always get candy out of the jar- 'the woman at the counter stated-(was white) in a condesending tone- "why are you stealing the candy" (??) Taken back by sucn comment- The candy did not have a price tag on the bowl- such conments and unfriendly conduct by various staff memnbers.
- Imparital treatment in the RV store- employees failing to answer questions and providing smart comments such "well yeah, I would think so" just to name a few. The slow responses and disinterest to provide a service was very obvious ( store was over priced and the items- my friends decided to purchase their generators thru amazon)
THOSE ARE JUST TO NAME A FEW- THERE ARE MORE...that I witnessed coming with them as a guest. My friends happen to be people of color and new to RV-ing.
I am terribaly alarmed that somewhere in this fanilies blood line- indigenous cultures are not accepted. Finally, never once had we seen other brown faces like ourselves anywhere in our visits....very sad!
