Complaint Review: Johnny Grid Iron LLC

Due Diligence Report shows  Johnny Grid Iron LLC & Sam Dobbins stole intellectual Property  

The owner of Johnny Grid Iron LLC  Mr Sam Dobbins  by his actions -Can be found to be a very dishonest person when representing his claims about the founding of his company- Johnny Grid Iron LLC and claiming he is the "brains or creator of  the old Time football helmet hat . Because,  Sam Dobbins  stole all his ideas and the intellectual properties while working for another company. Mr Dobbins signed a very explicite non-compete /non disclosure contract/letter with that company (on file).  

Sam Dobbins  worked for Past Time Sports (herafter refered to as PTS) a company founded in 1996.  

Sam Dobbins went to work for PTS in 2001 and signed a Non-Compete / Non Disclosure Contract/Letter that is on file:

Sam Dobbins worked for Past Time Sports and they  supplied Sam Dobbins with an array of their leather football helmet products and designs as samples and  all their intellectual propperties and customer lists.   Sam Dobbins wore these products and sold these products as a representative of Past Time Sports at Denver Bronco Home Games and University of Colorado Home Games.  He created quite a stir and was on television and interviewed many times while in his PTS Helmet. He was invited to lead cheering on the field wearing the outfit that the company had furnished him all during the football season. He was a employee of PTS the company.

Sam Dobbins took this picture and sent it to PTS.  The company per  Sam Dobbins request donated  some of their products to Sam Dobbins priest to support the priests church fund raising program.

In all -Sam Dobbins had access to all of PTS Intellectual Property and products He was supplied with multipe samples for his selling endeavors. Mr sam Dobbins Johnny Grid Iron LLC  was also supplied with the Master list of  PTS customers and clients all during 2001-2002-2003.   Also, Sam Dobbins was compensated by PTS for working for the company and selling their products for over a year.  

After working for PTS and receiving samples of all their products and their marketing plans and intellectual properties  Sam Dobbins quit the company and formed his own company Johnny GridIron LLC.where he filed a bogus trademark.

PTScontacted Sam Dobbins and reminded him of his contractual agreements and possession of PTS line of products and samples that he had been provided  as well as the intellectual product research and information he  had in his possession.   It is apparant that Sam Dobbins , Johnny Grid Iron LLC misrepresented himself and his honesty and integrity and stole PTS products even though he had signed a contact/letter of Non compete /Non Disclosure .

Sam Dobbins -Johnny Grid Iron LLC never returned any of the products and company materials and customer contacts and lists. He proceeded to copy and begin selling old time leather football helmets under his company name Johnny Grid Iron LLC.

Past Time Sports thru Law Firm and attorneys sent a Cease and Desist order to Sam Dobbins Johnny Grid Iron LLC.  Sam Dobbins -Johnny Grid Iron LLC ignored and never responded to that ruling. Continuing to deceive and represent itself to outside companies.

Sam Dobbins tried to sell his products under the bogus trademark to other companies.  Including Reebok - West Coast Novelty.  Once Reebook was informed of the existence of the Non compete and non disclosure document they did diligence and found Sam Dobbins guilty of signing  and breaking such a contract as did  their distributor West Coast Novelty Company.  

Sam Dobbins , Johnny Grid Iron LLC was made  to relinquish  royalties he falsely collected and these were awarded to the company PTS.
Which to this day collects royalties that Sam Dobbins was not entitled to.

Sam Dobbins has also signed legal documents admitting his guilt and  yet he continues to falsely claim that he is the "Brains" behind his old time football helmet concept by Johnny Grid Iron company and he continues to falsely represent his company .

It seems to be a comedy of criminal ego that he  cries out  that he invented the concept and is the brains behind the concept and product ...when documents and photographs exist that prove this is an out and out lie. Factual evidence shows Mr Dobbins is a plain old ordinary dishonest crook.

If you are a company that has fallen for Sam Dobbins Johnny Grid Irons lies and claims to Royalties .....it may be wise to contact the real owners of the leather old time football helmet concept.  And to know that working with them you will be relieved of having to pay royalties to an on going existing scammer like Sam Dobbins, Johnny Grid Iron LLC.

Lastly Sam Dobbins leans heavily on his Christian roots and continually brings his quoting of scripture and verse into his business dealings.  Is this because of his Bernie Madoff type of  sinful deception ?  Plain burdening guilt ? Or to shield himself from the burden truth.   Just remember, Sam - when you do get to haven  God may just say " I never knew you."
