I hired Johnny's Appliance to diagnose and repair my broken air conditioner on April 21, 2005. I was charged and paid $482.00 for the following description:

capacitor
refiderant r22
coil clean
60 days warranty
6 monts
**This is what my friend reads to me on my invoice. Because I am a blind (and single mom of three young boys). I need her help because the day after the repair and the first time my air conditioner kicks on it makes a terrible noise and does not work. The repair man even failed to test the air conditioner! I make several calls with no contact or calls returned until the week of May 5th. A repair man comes and tells me now I need a fuse replaced at the cost of $80.00. I decide not to let them do any more work and consider myself RIPPED OFF for only $485.00 and not an additional $80.00.

My invoice is a scribbled mess, I feel because of my blindness it did not matter to note down all his guarantees voiced to me.
