I purchased a vehicle from Johnny's Auto in New London, CT. When I drove off of the lot I noticed several defects about the car. I immediately contacted the sales person to describe my experiences. He told me no problem we will take care of it!! I went without a car for days and when I did pick up the car, the salesperson told me that the car was all set!!! I drove off and noticed that the same problems were there. He assured me that the car was fine. So I told him that the car needed further attention and that it felt unsafe to drive.
Well the salesperson avoided me and kept telling me that I have to go to his place of business and talk to the mechanic, well needless to say the mechanic did not speak English and referred me back to his boss, the salesperson. So as we went back and forth, I missed days and days of work and received rides from family members due to the cars condition. Now weeks later the mechanic finally comes up with, you have a bad transmission and you need to pay $800 for the labor and over 800 for the transmission it self.
I replied absolutely not, this vehicle was just purchased and you told me that this car was in pristine condition!!!! So I went on to get a second opinion from the Mercedes Benz dealership and they generated a full list of problems with the car!!! I was shocked, I paid full price for this vehicle with the impression that it was in Pristine condition, they told me to return the car!!!
On my way to my child's doctors appointment the car started smoking excessively and in pure horror my son and I jumped out of the vehicle and called the police!!! When the tow truck arrived they stated that my engine was gone!!! In absolute Awwww I contacted the salesperson and stated yet another problem, he told me to drip the vehicle off so that it could be checked out, that is the last that I heard from him, he has now changed his number, blocked me from the Facebook website and has never contacted me again. Please help me to put other consumers on notice to never purchase a vehicle from this business, very shady operation

Its in your second sentence..."When I drove off the lot I noticed several defects about the car."  Since the problems were so quickly noticable, how did it do on a test drive?  Did you get a warranty with the car or was this an "AS IS" sale?  If it was "AS IS", why are you "ENTITLED" to free warranty service?
