Complaint Review: Johnny Sperin

 Johnny Sperin did two tile jobs for me and they both looked gorgeous - and they both leaked.  He stated before he began that he stood behind his work and warrantied the job. 

I gave him the benefit of the doubt on the first job because other workmen had been through.  On the second job the shower pan began leaking into the basement about 9 months after the installation.  I called him to check it out and repair.

He ripped out all the tile I had bought and told me the shelf in the shower was installed incorrectly but he would reinstall the shower pan and tile for a reduced price.  When I called him back he was very belligerent and told me to get somebody else - he didn't like my attitude.  With that he laid his phone down and walked away refusing to respond to anything else.

I called a reputable tile man who pointed out where the leaks were and that it was obviously the shower pan at the front corners.  I took pictures.

I had to rebuy new tile and grout and pay someone else to do the job.  Johnny Sperin's work was unsatisfactory and his attitude was worse.
