Complaint Review: Johns by John

I used Johns by John about 5 years ago to pump out my septic system, everything went fine.

I recently received a call from them stating that it had been five years and was due again, I set up an  appointment for three days later, they no showed and no call.  They called again about a month later with the same speech, I told them what happen and they said they were sorry and would do it for $145.00.  Again I scheduled an appointment, again they no showed.  I was done with this company.  About three weeks later they called again, I told them I had no interest in their company, the lady apologized and stated they would like another chance, this time she said they would pump the tank for $145.00 and then I could cut out a $10.00 discount coupon from the phone book and have the service for $135.00.  I said OK (stupid me).  They actually came out this time, when he finished he gave me a bill for $155.72.  I gave the serviceman the $10.00 off coupon and he would not accept it saying it was already included, I begged to differ with him and called the company, the owner answered and denied that I was told this and the price was $145.00 plus tax.  After explaining what took place in the previous appointments and what I was told, he refused to listen and hung up on me.  I paid the bill and asked them to never call me again.  Next time I will pay more to do business with an honest company.

Johns by John is going down the John.  Please do not use this company.  Its not the $10.00 it's the principle. Crooks will be crooks.
