Hi!

Again..here is another company that has earned the attention your wonderful website can offer. These people have made tons of money off selling other credit products of...how should I say...questionable quality.

This takes the cake. They market one of those fee-crazy debit cards called Universal Platinum Mastercard. When I viewed the disclosure on this card on 3/20...something wasn't quite right.

The only fee mentioned was a $5.95 monthly charge. No way...these people have fees on top of fees. I emailed the BBB of Florida and filed complaints with the FTC and State of Florida Attorney General's Office.

Today...I noticed...action. Fee-o-rama...just like I thought..and yet...something still was not right. No annual fee?

No submission fee? No activation fee? No way. I took the next step...I pretended to sign up for the thing...paydirt.

A fee of $99.00 that still was not in that disclosure. Fired off a email to the BBB, Johnson Lane and the Florida AG's office and filed another complaint with the FTC. Geee...maybe they can get it right the third time!!!
