Jokers Audio in Kennesaw Goergia Charged more than was I was quoted on phone Kennesaw Georgia
Not the biggest rip off in the world but I felt I was taken advantage of. I talked to a Mohamed on the phone before I went to get a price on installing a $100.00 radio(no speakers, radio bought from them) in my truck. After being put on hold so he could confirm his figures from the manager, he told me that the radio is $100.,labor would be either $40. for a simple install or $50. for a difficult install and that I would need a wiring harness and face plate filler with both items would be $40. So, Im figuring $100 radio, $50 install, $40 extras is 190 plus tax $13 for a total of $203. They do the work and charged me $70 for the labor and grabbed me for another $10 somewhere for a total bill of $231. Not the greatest rip off, but I could have gotten the thing done at Best Buy for probably $200. When I asked him why the labor was $20 more than quoted, he shrugs his shoulders and says that it was just a difficult install??? what?? I thought the difficult install would only be $50. The radio was done ok though, so I cant complain. But be careful about what they quote you on the phone. Get it in writing before you let them begin work.
