This kennel owner is misrepresenting the dogs that he owns and sells. On his "puppies for sale" page, he currently (5/15/07) has the stud dog of his litter advertised as "Master VomPiere" but the picture is that of Blacky Neuen Lande, a dog that died years ago, according to the jpeg properties. The fool didn't even bother to try to hide the fact that he copied another dog's picture from the internet.

He claims that he mated his black and tan female with this now dead dog and produced 100% solid black puppies. This is genetically impossible. The black color in German Shepherd Dogs is a recessive trait which means the only way to get 100% black puppies in a litter is to breed two all black dogs together that only have the black recessive gene to pass on to their progeny. Therefore, the pictures of all those black puppies have either been altered to make them look all black, or they are puppies from another litter.

On his "dogs for sale" page, he cannot even spell the names of his dog's alleged bloodlines properly. "Lindenhale" and "Tinkerhook" are poorly spelled versions of famous kennels in Europe. It is not likely that this fellow has dogs from these pretigious kennels if he cannot even spell the names right.

Also on his "dogs for sale" page is a sold dog that he calls Pierre, 2 years old. However, the jpeg properties identify the dog as Waldo, 8 years old.

This fellow is not only dishonest, but not intelligent enough to even attempt to cover up his deception. I hope that prospective clients will read this post, and the other complaints against this business and not be duped by this guy's scam.

I'm pleased to see on my recent visit to their web site that they have apparently been alerted to my post. They have removed the pictures of Blacky and Waldo from their site.

I also need to amend my statistics for probablity of breeding solid black GSD puppies. Assuming the dam carries the black recessive (which is questionable as Pascha does not have the characteristic pencil marks and tar heels that are typically found in carriers of black recessive gene) and is bred to an all black male, the outcome is 50% possible to produce a solid black puppy, 50% recessive carrier only.

The chance of getting 10 solid black puppies from such a breeding is equivalent to flipping a coin and getting "heads" 10 times in a row...

1/2 * 1/2 * 1/2 * 1/2 * 1/2 * 1/2 * 1/2 * 1/2 * 1/2 * 1/2 = 1/200 or 0.5% chance of getting 10 black puppies from such a breeding.
Possible, but unlikely. Given the original false claim that "Master vom Pierre" aka Blacky vom Neuen Lande was the sire, I am skeptical of any claims from this breeder.

I have made screen captures of the original pictures on the web site and if I can find out how to post them to validate my original report I will do so.
