I purchased a Acura CL from Jones Junction on 11-26-02 and this came to be my second car after filing bankruptcy in 09-2000. My percentage rate on my previous car was 19.75%. I only went to the car dealership because Brian Hancock bragged about putting
me into a car that I would never believe I could drive.

I went to the dealership and he also added that the car was going for 16,500 and even showed me on the internet that the blue book value was much higher. When I sat down with the financing office the price of the car jumped to 19,500 and the percentage rate jumped to 21%. I asked why and Brian came to the financing office and said he was just throwing prices around and could not be sure..it's according to the bank. I signed anyhow because my previous car was totaled and I had no means of transportation to college and work.

When the bank called me to finalize the deal, I told them I no longer had three jobs as I did when I purchased the car but only one. Next thing I know, Brian Hancock calls and says I found a bank that will lower the length of the loan, the percentage rate, and the monthly payment. He kept saying that he was trying to look out for me and I had to hurry in to sign the paperwork.

When I arrived to sign the new paperwork, it was the same bank and they would not approve the previous loan because my income went down. They made it seem as though they were on my side but they were only looking out for themselves.

Now, Jones Junction had my car from 12-16-2002 until 12-27-02 for a calipher problem. They didn't fix it, so the car went back on 01-02-03. They told me that Acura said nothing was wrong with it. But, smoke kept coming from my rear tire. So I left again. I returned on 01-07-03 when the smoke did not stop and finally the service manager Geoff said he would replace it for free.

All along, I had been contacting Tim Carter, the manager to tell him that I did not want the car. He never returned my five messages. When I asked who was over top of him, Brian said I would never get in touch with that person cause his office is in Florida. So now I'm stuck with this car with a continuing calipher problem...and Jones Junction also said they would get me a spare key. Never saw one. And a button for my alarm system...Never saw that either. Avoid these crooks at all cost and just because you filed bankruptcy doesn't mean you have to settle for any percentage rate or loan amount.
