Jones Construction Jimmie Jones, AKA James and Apryl Christoff Home Improvement Fraud / Theft Westwego Louisiana
My husband and I contacted a man by the name of Jimmie Jones. He did some work for neighbors of a friend. We got his number, he was do pour cement at our home! First he did the back yard! That was fine we didn't have any problems. He then contacted us to give us a deal on the front years. We never gave him an answer! He called two more times, both times with the cost being lowered! Eventually he would charge $1100 for the front! We paid the money on 9/15/16! He then called in the 21st to say the cement truck would be there at 12! Jimmie then called back and said the truck would be on the property at 4!
By 5pm that day Jimmie stopped answering his phone! We called him and his daughter for a week and a half , both of them dodging our calls! I found his daughter on facebook 10/2! She then acknowledged me after I said I would press charges for stealing my money! Jimmie calls my husband that same day to day he would pour the cement Friday 10/7! He did not , so then he calls to say he'll be there Saturday! On 10/8/16 Jimmie was to pay the cement guy $525 in which he only had $ 400! He expected me to pay him the balance in which I would not until the cement was poured because I had to chase him down! So the truck would not pour because Jimmue took that eleven hundred dollars and did God knows what with it!
Furthermore, when I told him give me back my money he refused! I said I was calling the police , he said "do what you gotta do" ! He has 45 days to get his self together! In day 46 I can file criminal charges against him. As far as I know he works in Waggaman, Avondale, Kenner, and New Orleans! Don't ever use this FRAUD AND THIEF! He knew he wasn't going to do the job and just steal our money and we are not the first home that he's done this to! Be careful
